If you are looking for the lowest price, we are not your contractor. We believe that you get what you pay for. With SealTek you are not going to get sealer that is watered down.  We use a quality product and provide a quality service.

There are some things you want to ask a company when getting a quote:

  1. What kind of sealer do you use?  SealTek uses Rochester Jet-Blak Coal Tar Sealer.
  2. Are you insured?  SealTek is fully insured.

  3. How long have you been in business?  SealTek has been serving Western Monroe County for over 20 years.

  4. When shopping for a sealing quote don't look for the cheapest quote, look for the best quality!

  5. How long do I have to stay off of my driveway? To ensure proper drying, we recommend that you not walk on the driveway for 24 hours. It should remain free of vehicles for 48 hours.

  6. Does SealTek want its PAPER sign and stakes back?  The paper sign can be discarded when the driveway is opened for use.

  7. How do I clean oil spots? The homeowner is responsible for cleaning any oil spots. Use liquid dish soap (Dawn) will work just fine.  Hot soapy water; spread on scrub with stiff brush or broom.  Allow enough time so that the driveway is dry for sealing. Repeat as needed.

  8. Do I need to be home for the driveway to be sealed? It is not necessary to be home. We will leave an invoice upon completion of job.  Please send a check to SealTek 131 Sherri Ann Lane, Rochester, NY 14626.  If you are home you may pay by check or cash. Please note that if you are home, be sure to take your car out of the garage as you will not be able to drive on the driveway for 48 hours.

  9. How do I pay when the job is done?  SealTek accepts checks or cash.

  10. When is payment expected? Payment is expected at the time of service if you are home. If you are not home, an invoice will be left and payment is expected upon receipt of the invoice.

  11. Does it have to be hot to seal a driveway? Driveways can be sealed as long as it is warmer than 45 degrees and no chance of rain.

  12. Why you need to seal your asphalt pavement: A properly sealed driveway is protected from oxidation, erosion, potholes, frost damage and general disintegration. Plus a well sealed driveway provides a black satin-like surface that enhances the beauty of your house and lawn - adding to the pride in your home and assuring higher resale value.

  13. A little maintenance saves a lot of money! Remember that proper maintenance saves money in the long run. You spend a little now to extend the life of your driveway. New driveways are considerably more expensive than multiple seal coat treatments.  Sealing your drive just makes money sense.
